Comedian Matt Lucas was the first celebrity to take over the hot seat in the new series of Big Brother. The traditional Celebrity Big Brother has been scrapped this year for the new twisted version call Hijack. The house has been filled with talented individuals hand picked by Big Brother.

On the opening night Matt caused havoc as he gave the first entrant, John, an earpiece and secretly told him how to greet the other contestants as they entered the house. He mainly told John to tell the others; whatever they could do, he could do as well! Considering they are all highly talented individuals this was very funny to watch. John also had to pretend to have cramp to get another contestant to rub his leg, as well as rubbing the back and hugging another contestant.

Big Brother Celebrity Hijack was great to watch on the first night, mainly because of Lucas giving John some cringe-worthy things to say and do! A great start to 2008 for Matt, hopefully the rest of the year will be just as good! :)
